A simple smile can do wonders in everyone’s life.
In today’s fast-paced life all have forgotten how to smile from the heart.
Today I am going to talk about a time when I saw many people smiling.
It was when I was travelling with my cousin to ___ on a bus/train/plane. It was around a few years back.
There were around 30 people travelling on the bus and of all age groups.
All were busy doing their own activities- some were talking to each other, a few were reading, young children were busy playing games on their mobile phones and some were sleeping.
Midway into the journey, a passenger started talking on the cellphone probably sitting around the centre.
He was abnormally loud even though I was sitting in one of the front seats I could hear him speak as clear as a whistle.
I normally don’t pay into other people’s business but he was so damn loud that not just me all were able to hear his conversation.
Apparently, he was talking to his spouse. From his conversation, it seemed that he had forgotten about their anniversary.
He was apologizing profusely to his wife and was saying that he was ready to buy her anything she wished for as an apology.
That conversation lasted for more than 10 minutes before his wife finally accepted his apology.
After the call ended, the person finally had a sigh of relief. My cousin and I exchanged a few smiles during that conversation.
And I happened to turn around and saw that everyone on the bus was smiling looking at their wife’s remembering how they also had to go through the same situation sooner or later in their life.
Everyone on the bus had enjoyed his conversation and a good smile during and after it.
Even the person talking on the phone looked relieved and was smiling. Thinking about it still brings a smile to my face.
Everyone needs a reason to smile every day that alone could make their day filled with positivity.
