o Waiting isn’t my thing I can’t wait too long for anything I get tired of waiting very easily, and I hate it when I have to wait for something especially when it is for a long time.

o But there are some things in life for which I could wait as long as it needs.

o It was back in 2017 that we received the good news that my sister was blessed with a baby girl.

o In India girl is considered a blessing.

o My sister was expecting her baby at the end of February according to doctors but sometimes even doctors fail to guess the exact date and it so happened she was born in the first week of March instead of February.

o I was highly excited about it as I would be an uncle soon and will have a cute little niece to play with.

o According to the doctors’ advice we admitted her on the 23rd of February and waited and waited but it didn’t happen so the doctor then said we could either go home or stay here it was our wish because it looked like there are still some days left.

o So we took her home and brought her back, got my sister was admitted to the local hospital on the 6th of March, and my niece was born on the morning of 7th March.

o I waited the entire night outside the hospital, and I was very excited and anxious at the same time.

o In India it is common for a family to worry about a boy or girl scenario but I just wanted the baby and mother to be healthy.

o It took almost 6 hours of painful moments for my sister before the baby girl was born.

o When we received the good news that both are safe, I thanked God for their safety and congratulated everyone.

o Everyone was happy we brought sweets and celebrated with the entire medical staff.

o It was a special day because holding my niece for the first time and it seemed like she liked me because she didn’t cry at all.

o I was almost at my threshold and could have had a nervous breakdown anytime but I am generally very tough and so I made it out somehow. We named her Takshvi.

o She is one year old now and she has just started to walk. We love her a lot and the day she was born was one of the happiest days of my life.

o In the end, I still hate waiting for stupid things but sometimes waiting for things and developing patience is the best.
